1. COMMIT TO MEET WITH YOUR “2”
Text JOIN to 75787 and let us know you’re committing to start meeting together with your “2” (you and a few of your friends) and we’ll come alongside you to help you get started.
2. CHOOSE YOUR BIBLICAL CONTENT
Open the Bible together. Read a book together. Jump into an already existing study or class. The idea is to spend time in the Bible with your small group of friends and talk about it together. See below for many ideas and resources that are available to you right here at Grace.
3. MEET TOGETHER REGULARLY
Make a regular time to get together with your “2” to have intentional spiritual conversations. Talk about what you’re learning, pray together, and encourage one another.
What is Meeting with Your Two? Meeting with Your Two is simply that: meeting with 2-4 people who are committed to learning and growing together (discipleship relationships) in their pursuit of Christ to Know It, Live It, and Give It Away More & More.
It really is that simple! Who are two people in your life that you could reach out to and invite them to join you?
When it comes to casting vision and communicating to your friends about meeting with them, we wanted to provide you with a tool to help you in that process. We hope this guide will help create a meaningful experience that has vision and mission in mind. Every successful group has a few key elements: A Purpose, A Plan, Impact, & Challenge.
As you get started there are a few things we think you will want to keep in mind:
- What is your purpose? – Can you define the win?
- What is your plan? – How do you plan to move forward? Who will you invite?
- How will your group make an impact in your local community by equipping Christ-followers to respond in love to the community needs around them?
What will you do create an environment that personally challenges the group members to ongoing growth and learning?
