At Grace, we want to be a church that supports our community and comes around vulnerable youth and families. One of the ways we are doing this is by offering avenues of partnership to support families, mentor youth, provide resources, and even become a foster/adoptive family.

Serving Opportunities
Safe Families
Their goal is to engage families via faith communities to open their homes to care for vulnerable children. They desire to help families before a major crisis hits with the hope that they can keep families intact, minimize children entering foster care, and reduce abuse and neglect.

Mentoring Opportunities
Most of us can think of people who have had a profound impact on our lives, but so many people in our communities are living and growing up without anybody to make that kind of impact. They don’t have positive people in their lives to mentor them and help pour into them by loving them and modeling what a relationship with Jesus looks like.
We have an opportunity to step into some of these gaps. All it takes is being willing to show up and love people, to give relational consistency over time. That’s what a mentor does.
Tutoring
We have formed a partnership with Copley Schools to start a mentoring/tutoring program with their middle school students. We hope to provide loving, consistent support to students during their school day so that they can become more successful at school and know there is an adult who cares for them.
Support for Families
There are many ways that you can help foster and kinship families as they care for children in their homes, celebrate with them as young adults step into adulthood, and families adopt
