This summer we have created a way for you, your family, and friends to have fun, discover different parts of Akron, and explore the ways that Grace partners with ministries all over our city.

2. Upload a photo for a chance to win this months prize.

Summit lake Challenge
Summit Lake is home to South Street Ministries, one of Akron’s key city ministries. Everything they are passionate about comes from a heartbeat to restore people relationally, physically and spiritually. They work throughout the area investing into children through their Bike Shop ministry, after-school basketball program, as well as in the re-entry community through support meetings and drop in / transitional housing.
Stop 1
Head to Summit Lake for a hike or bike with a view!
If you go on a Tuesday between 4-7pm, you can rent bikes from South Street Ministries…or just give them a fist bump!!

Stop 2
Grab a drink and take a photo at Porchlight coffee shop! This is also home to South Street Ministries’ offices!
Ask your barista and they can introduce you to a South Street staff member hanging out at the shop 🙂

north hill Challenge
The North Hill area is home to 20 different cultures from all over the world! Urban Vision is owning this unique opportunity to share the Gospel internationally in our own city. Their ministry goes all out investing into children and students, equipping leaders and meeting the needs of hundreds. Find the QR on their parking lot entrance to learn more!
Stop 1
Head to the Malecon Mexican Grill food truck for some insanely good tacos! Click here to see their menu 🙂

Stop 2
Snap a photo dropping off a lunchbox snack item at Urban Vision for their kids program! If you want to drop off a snack, this needs to be done during business hours (M-F, 9am-5pm).
Think fruit snacks, juice boxes, crackers, cookies, et cetera!
