Leaders

The Reed’s have been attending Grace for for over 20 years and have been married for 44. Both Jeff and Cheryl enjoy riding. Jeff rides a restored 1972 Yamaha 650 motorcycle and Cheryl rides a rescued Haflinger molly mule. Both Jeff and Cheryl love seeking God’s direction for their lives and saying “yes” to whatever opportunities or challenges he puts in front of them!

The Murphy’s have been married for 43 years.  They met locally in their church youth group and have always lived in the Akron area.  They enjoy running (Jeff) and walking/running (Lani), with Lani having completed well over 2 dozen half-marathons and Jeff having run a few as well as a couple of full marathons. In addition to having led a life group for over a decade, they both enjoy reading, playing board games, visiting their children and grandchildren – none of whom are local – and spending time at their cottage in Lakeside.

Central Gathering description:

Our Central Gathering consists of three main segments. We always begin with time to mingle and talk. Then we share a delicious meal together. We end each gathering by discussing ways to get plugged into serving and discipleship, and prayer!
