GO+DO Projects aim to help the people of Grace connect with each other in the mission of Jesus, loving and serving others.

Grace Park Homeless Lunches

Serve Day: Thursdays at 12pm
Location: The park across from the CSS Dayroom (park at 111 E Voris St.)
Age Range: Adults, Families
Project Description: Assist in delivering food to the park, serving lunch, and visiting with those who come to enjoy lunch.

Nursing Home Team

Project Date 2nd Friday of each month
Age Range: Adults, Families, Students
Project Description: Join other adults and families as we visit with, play games, and spend time talking with nursing home residents.

Urban Vision Work Days

Project Dates Aug 23rd and Nov. 1st (9am-12pm)
Project Location Urban Vision Ministry (749 Blaine Ave. Akron)
Age Range: 18+
Project Description: Assist the staff at Urban Vision complete projects around their building. Projects could include painting, yardwork, light maintenance, cleaning, prepping for programs.

Arts and Scraps

Project Date: 5:30pm, weekly
Age Range: Families, adults, students
Project Description: Join a group who meet at the church office to create craft items for local city partners and global partners.

Foster Families Care Team

Project Dates: Monthly/flexible, this team requires a commitment of 6 months to a year
Age Range: Adults, Families
Team Description: This team will provide support to foster and kinship families within Grace as they provide care to children in their homes. This support could look like meals, providing date nights, housework, or lawn care.

Hang Out Nights with the Middlebury Community: For Women

Project Dates: 3rd Sunday of the Month
Age Range: High School and older
Project Description: Meet up with women from the homeless community alongside The Landing volunteers to hang out and do an activity together. Options could be baking, making a craft, taking a hike, etc.

Men's Work Team

Project Dates: As needed, once a month or once every other month
Age Range: High School and older
Project Description: Serve alongside other men at Grace to help our city ministry partners advance their work, serve families at Grace who have encountered crisis or have been met with extenuating circumstances, and projects that assist teams at Grace.
