Why do we mentor?

We live to make Jesus make sense, wherever we are, and whatever we do. At the core of that mission is showing up in people’s lives. Whether in our church or across our city, we believe transformation begins with presence. Mentoring is one of the most powerful ways we get to step into people’s lives with purpose and hope. As we come alongside kids, students, and adults—through our church ministries and trusted city partners—we thrive together as living expressions of Jesus’ love.

We believe strongly that we have no spare parts; we all have a part to play in helping people feel loved and seen. One of the ways we do this is by investing in our community through relationships. There are ways we do this corporately and individually. With something as little as two hours a week, your willingness to build relationships can bring hope and dignity to where it can be hardest to find.

If you’re interested in being a mentor with a student or adult, let us know and we will get you paired with the right opportunity.

At Grace, we actively seek ministry partnerships to maximize impact for God’s kingdom. We cannot do this work alone and we seek to partner with ministries who are actively working in their communities to make Jesus make sense. Check out our city ministry partners below.
