Pray for Boldness to step out in faith

Stepping out in faith can be intimidating. Faith is not comfortable. It challenges us to trust beyond ourselves. Knowing this prepares us to step out in boldness with the understanding that we build a deeper trust in Jesus when we rely on Him instead of ourselves.

Romans 8:31-32
What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?

Hebrews 12:1-2
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.
