Pray for opportunities to love your neighbor

When you think about “your neighbor,” who comes to mind? It could be the person living next door to you, a friend at work, or even your regular barista. Your neighbor is anyone that God has put in the path of your everyday life. Think of a few of these people, and take some time today to pray for them by name.

Matthew 12:28-31
But if I am casting out demons by the Spirit of God, then the Kingdom of God has arrived among you. For who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man and plunder his goods? Only someone even stronger—someone who could tie him up and then plunder his house.

“Anyone who isn’t with me opposes me, and anyone who isn’t working with me is actually working against me. So I tell you, every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven—except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven.”

Questions for Conversation:

Do you know your neighbors names? What are they?

2. If you could create one fun event in your neighborhood or work place to get to know people, what would it be and what is stoping you?

3. What are some ways you can make conversation with the cashier/barista/barber at the local businesses you frequent?
