Crisis Response

Pray for our love for Christ and our love one another to deepen

When Jesus was asked what the greatest commandment was, he replied to love God and love others. The more we love God, the deeper the depth we love others in light of the depths God loves us. We want to know this love, so that we share it effectively with others.

Matthew 22:34-40
But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees with his reply, they met together to question him again. One of them, an expert in religious law, tried to trap him with this question: “Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?”
Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”

Questions for Conversation:
1.
What is one way you can get to know Jesus more?

2. What comes to mind when you think about another person loving you well?
