How am I going to use my life? In every season of life, God wants to work in and through us. But navigating God’s calling as a young professional can feel confusing, daunting, and lonely. Every month, we have a gathering where anyone can simply show up, eat together, and have a conversation about how to walk into God’s calling. These gatherings will also give you space to spend time hanging out with peers and mentors.

How can I make an impact? There are real needs in our city and the world around us. Passion begins to stir in us when we find others who need help or a cause that goes beyond ourselves. There are several ways we want to work together over the summer to make an impact and show the goodness of Jesus in the process. Below you will see various partnerships we have been developing. Whether it’s volunteering at a rec night for inner city students, rebuilding houses in North Hill, or feeding starving kids around the world—there is place you can make a difference.

Hang Out
It’s okay to have fun! Busyness can drive your life as a young professional. And it can be hard to know where to find connection with your peers. There are several hangouts and events throughout the summer that can help build those relationships. A Hangout Night is hosted by different families in the Akron area and totally free. Life Together
Young Professionals is for post-college and career adults looking to explore their calling, serve with others, and find community. Certain questions seem to be asked more frequently in this phase of life—How am I going to use my life? How can I make an impact? Who are my peers? How does God fit into all of it?
This summer there are several gatherings, volunteer opportunities, small groups, and hangouts with other young professionals. Each of these offer ways to explore the answers to the questions above. The monthly gatherings are a great place to start, but you can jump in at any point along the way.
