What is Momentum?

Momentum is an annual national youth conference for students in 9th-12th grade. Momentum is all about connecting students to God, helping them to understand where they belong in God’s kingdom, and how they can know God’s purpose for their lives. Momentum Youth Conference creates an atmosphere conducive to learning, listening, serving, and following Jesus. Students can come to this experience expecting to encounter God, to be challenged in their faith, to learn and be reminded of truth from God’s word, to strengthen their relationship with their youth group and peers, and to have lots of fun!

Where is Momentum?

Momentum is coming to Akron this year! We will be housing students at the Montrose building and sessions will be held at the Ghent Road building.

What should I expect?

Momentum 2021 will start off with three great sessions. Sessions are full of fun and highlighted by the Jordan Howerton Band and dynamic speakers. Those three sessions will be Sunday evening, Monday morning, and Monday evening.

On Tuesday, we will have the opportunity to Give It Away to our local community through serving. We will have a service opportunity that the students will be taking part in that will show the love of Jesus to the local community.

Wednesday is a day of fun. We will be taking all of our students and leaders to Cedar Point for the day.

How much is Momentum?

Momentum is $295

The price of Momentum covers the cost of the conference itself, food, late night programming, transportation, and a Cedar Point ticket that includes meals. 

 

What happens if I am unable to attend Momentum after registering?

If necessary, someone can back out of Momentum. If you back out before April 29th, then there is a full refund. After April 29th, there are no refunds. 

How do I sign up for Momentum?

Signing up for Momentum is a two-step process:

Step 1: Sign up through the Momentum website HERE When you sign up through the Momentum website, you will be asked if you are a member of a group that has already reserved space: answer ‘yes’

– Enter in ‘BATH or BATHCAMPUS’ as your group registration code. This will guarantee you a spot and allow you to check out without paying on the Momentum site. 

– In order to register as a student, a parent needs to create the account on Momentum’s website and then add their children to the dashboard.

– If you sign up after April 29th, it might be possible to still join us, the Bath Campus, but spots are no longer guaranteed after April 29th. DO NOT pay anything through the Momentum website, and DO NOT sign up for a meal plan.

Step 2: Fill out this form to pay the $295 cost for Momentum. You must be payed in full by April 29th.
