OUR LEADERS

Ezra Wimberly

Ezra’s journey at Grace started shortly after Bath Campus was created. In 2001 he was invited by Pastor Jeff to intern leading the young adult ministry, New Perspective. In early 2004, he was called as a pastor to oversee both the young adults and Worship ministries. From there, Ezra has continued to serve in ever changing roles overseeing all kinds of Creative Arts ministry. Jeff often describes him as the “keeper of the culture of Grace.” In his current role, Ezra directs the worship, tech, communications, and set design teams, as well as serving as one of the lead pastors.

Ezra has a Music Education (cello) degree from Miami University (Oxford, OH), and a Masters of Arts in Ministry from Grace Seminary.

He is married to his college sweetheart, Michelle, and they have three sons and live in West Akron. They love meeting new people, seeing new places and enjoying all kinds of great design and beauty. No matter what role he is in, he is passionate about the Church being the people God has called them to be.

We hope you’ll find that Grace is somewhere that you can feel comfortable to explore faith, ask questions, grow spiritually, and connect with others. And most importantly, of course, we hope you connect with God!
