FAQ’s

Will face coverings (masks) be required?

Masks or face coverings are expected at all of our services.

Masks or face coverings are always required (regardless of exemptions) at our 4:30pm Saturday service. If someone has an exemption, we’d ask that they attend one of our other 4 services (Saturday at 6:30pm at Ghent, Sunday at 9am at Ghent, Sunday at 10am at Montrose, and Sunday at 11am at Ghent).

We are asking everyone to pay close attention to the Ohio Public Health Advisory System or other orders or mandates from the government and navigate those appropriately.

The governor has currently mandated that all individuals in Ohio must wear facial coverings in public at all times when:

● At an indoor location that is not a residence

● Outdoors, but unable to maintain six-foot social distance from people who are not household members

● Waiting for, riding, driving, or operating public transportation, such as a taxi, a car service, or a private car used for ride-sharing.

The order only requires those 10 years old or older to wear a mask. Additional exclusions include:

● Those with a medical condition or a disability or those communicating with someone with a disability;

● Those who are actively exercising or playing sports;

● Those who are officiants at religious services;

● Those who are actively involved in public safety; or

● Those who are actively eating or drinking.

Will there be singing?

Our goal is to create our Grace Church experience as close to normal as possible. We will be singing and worshiping together during our services.

Will there be programming for my children?

There are a couple options for children and students:

  • There is limited programming for children who are in the nursery –  5th grade. You can RSVP for them to attend during a service time that programming is available. (see above)
  • You can still join us during one of our online service times until we resume full children’s programming.
  • Middle school students (entering 6th-8th grade) have connect groups available on Sunday mornings. Visit bath.gracechurches.org/students for more info and to sign up.
Are we cleaning in between services?

Yes, we have spaced out the start times of our services to allow time to clean in between each service before we allow the next service attendees to enter the building.

Are we social distancing?

In an effort to prefer others, in the auditorium we have limited capacities for each service time. We have social-distanced the rows of chairs and are asking people who come together to find seating together as a group or family and leave two seats between other groups or families.

Will offering baskets be passed?

We will not be passing offering baskets in service during this time.  You may give online here or text GIVE to (844) 643-9151 and follow the prompts.

You can also drop your offering in the black boxes located in the auditorium or lobby areas.

What if I am not comfortable returning to in-person services?

No problem!  We will be continuing all of our online services as we have been. You are welcome to continue being a part of the family of Grace through streaming.
