  • Karen-I have 12 grandkids & I drove a Jet Ski, paddle boarded & parasailed this year. Laura-People are surprised to learn that I was a college athlete, know a lot about health and nutrition, am certified in Bowen Therapy, and am going to be a grandma!.
  • Laura –
When was a time that serving others made an impact on your life?
  • Karen-It’s the everyday serving, helping friends & neighbors, being available & intentionally finding opportunities to serve. Recently reaching out to widows has been humbling & rewarding. Laura-Leading the Single Again group has been a blessing to me in the healing it has brought to me personally as well as the many friendships I have made through it; taking my kids on a mission trip a few years ago was an amazing experience for us to bond and grow in our faith together.
  • Laura -When I was in my 20’s and was studying Romans 8:28, I learned that God can work all things in our lives for good. It was the first time I had personally experienced good coming from bad when this truth led me to start a program for children of divorce. Through helping other children of divorce, the Lord brought much healing into my life. It’s a life lesson and theme God has continued to develop. When I found myself divorced, He led me to start a group with other ladies who were also single again. This group has been such a blessing in my life, helping me grow, be encouraged, challenged, has kept me grounded and reminded me that I am never alone. As I currently serve other women in ministry, I am continually surprised by how much it fills my heart in a way like nothing else on this earth does. What a good and faithful God we serve to be able to give back to Him out of the overflow of all He has given to us!

The purpose of Life Groups is to make disciples who Know It, Live It, and Give It Away by sharing life together. No matter your age or season of life, these groups offer the best way for you to get connected at Grace Church and build meaningful relationships. Feel free to try a few groups, be a guest a few times, and then join the one that best fits you and your family.

We hope you’ll find that Grace is somewhere that you can feel comfortable to explore faith, ask questions, grow spiritually, and connect with others. And most importantly, of course, we hope you connect with God!
